🙋 Have you got what it takes to help get people out cycling? Two opportunities are available now for those who are interested 🙋‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️Club Development Officer 🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️Some funding has become available to support the establishment of a small part-time paid role to aid the growth and development of cycling in our area. This role aligns with our areas of focus - increasing participation, youth development, and ensuring the club is well run. The key tasks include maintaining the club communication channels 📣, annual activity calendar management 📆, ensuring the club is compliant with its Health and Safety requirements 🦺, and connecting with supportive people in our community during the working week 🤝, which our volunteer committee struggles with. Supporting work on requests for grant funding is important also 💲.You will be well supported by knowledgeable cycling bods 🧐, and whilst preferable, no prior cycling knowledge is necessary. There is flexibility with location and hours of work. So, if you think this is something you could do, please get in touch with Ian (email⬇️ or messenger) for further information.Ian Murphy - Presidentcyclingwhanganui@gmail.com ... 🙋 Have you got what it takes to help get people out cycling? Two opportunities are available now for those who are interested 🙋‍♂️🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️President (or Committee Member) 🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️With the incumbent stepping down following the Masters' Games, this presents an opportunity for someone to take on this interesting and varied role. With support in the form of a Development Officer coming on board, this will see this role (and those of the committee) become more hands-off from day to day and able to focus on a more strategic approach to the future of Cycling Whanganui. The heavy lifting has been done with a plan in place - its time for someone else to add their flavour to it.So, if you think this is something you want to do, please get in touch with Ian (email⬇️ or messenger) for further information.Ian Murphy - Presidentcyclingwhanganui@gmail.com ...
